Hunger Games Figurative Language

Due to testing in the building, we will be having one class for 3 hours tomorrow. I will be showing The Hunger Games, but to keep students on track with their study of figurative language, they will complete this simile worksheet about The Hunger Games while they work.

9th Grade English

Two months ago I began teaching 9th grade English at a somewhat challenged school. The school and the students have issues that I could not have imagined before the school year started, but we have made it almost to November.
